Falmouth Bus Routes Expanded

E-mail Print PDF
Bus users will find it easier to get to the beaches in Falmouth this summer following a change to First's timetable.

Last year the 41 service between Camborne, Redruth, Penryn and Falmouth was relaunched following a £520,000 funding package. It altered the previous route to include the Maritime Museum and Falmouth Docks. First invited passengers to commnet on the service and as a result have added Gyllyngvase Beach to the route. Buses run every 30 minutes, Monday to Fridays, every hour on Saturdays and every hour between Falmouth and Tremough in Penryn on Sundays. Simon Newport, commercial director of First saaid: "The relaunched service 41 in partnership with Cornwall County Council has been a real success, we hope to capitalise further this summer by providing better links between Falmouth town centre and the hotels and guest houses situated around the beach" Anyone who wants further information can call 0845 6001420 or visit the website www.firstgroup.com
