Maritime Studios has been specifically designed to accommodate students in Falmouth providing recreational facilities, and secure self-contained relatively indulgent living spaces with individual accommodation more akin to hotel facilities. Students will be able to socialise and relax in the communal areas and enjoy the stunning views they afford.
Both the Reception and Common Room areas are designed to provide the students with space to socialise with relaxed seating and in the Reception area there will be a meeting area as well as a plasma TV screen, individual post boxes for each apartment and a pay phone. In the Residents' Common Room, the students will be able to enjoy a game of pool, and you will find vending machines providing drinks and refreshments, and a second pay phone.
Security is provided by way of a secure door to the main building, with each studio having an individual locked door, CCTV of the communal areas, stairwells and lift levels. Disabled access is granted to all levels through the building by way of the lift, with doorways wide enough for wheelchairs. Outside there is visitor parking and a number of bike racks with a limited number of lockable stores available on a 'first come first served' basis.
